I knew about this place, but I hadn't been to it for a long time and in the last period I went twice. Excellent food, superlative deer carpaccio, fabulous roast meat and finally the strauben to try, I will definitely be back. I called the post office to find out if they would welcome us to eat some kaiserschmarren and they said yes. We arrive and, after sitting down, the waitress tells us that they don 't make kaiserschmarren and that instead of this dessert they make strauben. I point out that we came specifically for the kaiserschmarren and that on the phone I specifically asked if they did it. His answer was: they always say yes (turning to their colleagues) but they mean the strauben... NO HINT OF EXCUSES!! Well, we did NOT get up without consuming because we had now driven 30 minutes but know that it was absolutely NOT professional and respectful behavior. Also, you praise your strauben a lot (they say it was invented by them and sponsored precisely to make up for the gaffe made for the kaiserschmarren) but we ate it much much better elsewhere. I would add: small portions and restaurant prices and not refuge prices as written outside on their sign!! We are in Südtirol 7 times a year so we know the traditional dishes very well, you CAN 'T tell me: they mean strauben they are 2 completely different desserts!! We are not random tourists.... We wanted to come back tomorrow for dinner too but we will definitely look elsewhere and we DO NOT recommend the restaurant!! Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3
