El Patio Tlaquepaque

The service was excellent; the food was very delicious; and the beer was wonderfully cold! We had the panuchos. It was the first time we tried this kind of dish and it was delicious. The atmosphere in this place is magical and the fountain is a flowery joy. We would highly recommend this restaurant!

They no longer take reservations (or so I was told) but we only had to wait 15 minutes to take place. They didn't wait enough staff so that part is difficult. Drinks were so-so, but the food was delicious. The Mariachis stayed on 3 other tables and never came to us; I was very disappointed and we would have tipped her well. You were pretty good! Overall, set your expectations for slow service and go for food and music. Beautiful courtyard, all size groups.

This is a lovely traditional restaurant in a beautiful patio setting. They have menus in both English and Spanish. Our waiter Tomas was excellent and we requested him during our second visit. He ensured that we knew what we were ordering and also made great recommendations. We tried the Birria, Tuna with amaranth, Molotes and Chile en Nogada. Each dish was delicious and well presented. The restaurant frequently has Mariachis and other musicians. They play traditional music when there are not life performers at a sound level that allows conversation. An all around excellent experience.

A favorite for authentic food, and amazing music... Flor de Agave, a female mariachi band. Great staff, bilingual and helpful. Great food. Highly recommended.

We go to this restaurant every time we traveled to Guadalajara, and this this time we had a horrible experience, both of the hostess were extremely rude with me and my family, we traveled to Guadalajara once a month and every time we always have lunch in this restaurant but not anymore, we're not coming back. Their personal need to be trained so they can provide a better costumer service.
