Lake Range Family Restaurant - Tiverton

Love this restaurant.....comfort food at its best....lots of choices.....their skillet meals are awesome....too bad it is closed in the winter

While cottaging at nearby Lurgan Beach, we brought the family including 2 children and a blind man here for dinner. Sure glad we didn't get the "nasty" waitress because ours bent over backwards to be helpful! I ordered the all you can eat fish and chips although I never got past the first heaping plate. The waitress was a little stunned when my son in law ordered a 2nd full plate but he IS a marathon runner and has a huge appetite. She returned with an additional 3 large pieces of fish- no chips which I thought was odd because potatoes are less expensive than fish and more filling. One had a Club House- she asked if it was real turkey and the waitress happily announced that all their meat is the real deal. Another had liver & onions.Both got thumbs up! The older child did not complain but did not appear to be all that happy with her gyros on a pita. Probably compared it to those she had in Greece with her Yia yia!!The kids wanted ice cream cones so our waitress took their order and brought the cones to the table. We enjoyed our meal enough to return for breakfast on our way back home. They feature a Grand Slam . A new waitress warned us that it is a lot of food and she was right-3 eggs, bacon ,ham and sausage,homefries and toast plus pancakes and French toast. She was also generous with the coffee. She was not surprised when we requested a doggie bag.Eating at this family restaurant in Point Clark has become an annual event and we have never had a bad experience. Be warned- they take only cash!

Went here for ice cream and the owners clearly didn't want our business.Told us three times that they close at 8PM. Really disappointing.

Excellent food, large portions. Not licensed, but who cares? Nice there's a local place here. All day breakfast.

We have tried this place 4 times now and it is so hit and miss that we are going else where.the food is decent enough, hence the coming back several times, it is just the waitresses that can be so unattentive. I mean you applied for this job to serve people right? Coming for breakfast, slow to acknowledge you and there are only 2 other tables with people. Once the order is taken, any coffee? Nope. None is brought til the food is brought out. Want more coffe? Nope. You flag her down, oh I'll bring some...and that is the last you see of her. So we go up to the counter with cup in hand to get more. Yes we got more coffee, but we do not need attitude with it.We went another time and got a different waitress and she could not do enough for us.go again, and disaster. So we have given up and have told different ones to skip it, just incase, or at least they have been warned.
