Unfortunately, the reality did not live up to my expectations. The portions of vegetables, prawns, and fish were small and not at all like what was advertised. The thinly sliced fish was coated in a heavy, oily sauce, the shrimp were small and not whole, and there were only a few pieces of shredded vegetables scattered throughout. When I requested more broccoli, there was none available. In the end, I paid 770 rupees for a disappointing meal. Perhaps I just caught them on a bad day, but it was definitely a lesson learned.
Excellent restaurant - recommended by a friend, I tried this place and boy I don't regret. I just loved the food. The ambience of the place is amazing and I would say better than any restaurant in tiruvannamalai. The service was excellent, the boys were always with a smile and had good knowledge of the food they serve. They we able to tell me which dish is spicy and the ones which are sweet that mostly suits our western pallet.Tried the soups which were fantastic and they have quite a lot of varieties on menu. I loved the food so much that I went for lunch, dinner and the following day lunch lol.A must if you are in tiruvannamalai.
It is a pity the place is far from downtown because this was my favorite. I am a regular in Chennai, in Adyar, but in Adyar it is small and fast food like. Here the seat are nice, numerous, comfortable, decor is more than OK, or if I compare to other place I have been in TVN, it is simply the most achieved.Food was very fresh and excellent. I have a catch : battered prawns. Not easy to prepared, they must remain light and here it was perfect so was the honey chicken. So an excellent evening,
The Wang's Kitchen in Tiruvannamalai is situated on Polur Road, approximately 1.7kms from the bus stand. The restaurant has ample seating and the service is satisfactory, with food being served promptly. However, the taste does not justify the price paid, and many items on the menu are not available. The prices are on the expensive side, with a noticeable increase after the implementation of GST (Goods and Services Tax).
We were pleasantly surprised to discover a Wangs Kitchen location in Thiruvannamalai. We were even more impressed by the affordable prices and delicious dishes that were not available at their Chennai branches, such as the Coriander Chicken. The soups and main courses were all consistently tasty. Unfortunately, when we returned the next day for lunch, we were disappointed to find that they were without electricity and their generator was out of service, preventing them from cooking. We were disappointed to miss out on another opportunity to enjoy their food!
