Sri Saraswathi Lodge - Tiruchirapalli

We came in and tried to sit in the fan section but were quickly forced into the AC section, where the food was different and more expensive. We had a waiter trying to be helpful standing over us the whole meal so it was too awkward to talk. There were too many sauces so a lot ended up getting wasted. The food itself was good

I have been visiting this place since my childhood days. My father is a fan of this place.I like the lunch especial for the homely taste and caring service. One should not miss the variety meals too, hot steaming idilis with sambar are my favorite for breakfast. The special rava dosa is mouth watering. Millet dosas are served for dinner.

This is one of the oldest hotel and renovated recently to have a fresh look. Because of the experience they have, they know the reuirement of the people fully and the taste of the food is upto the expectations of all cross section of people

Good for South Indian food especially Idlies. The place is bit crowded as it is too close to Railway station and bus Stand. Very good for quick tasty food but not suitable for leisurely family eat out.

They have two outlets .. one sit down restaurant and one stand and take type. Coffee is RS 10 , filter coffee 15 and vada just 5. The vada was super hot and filter coffee was excellent
