Travellers Rest Cafe - Tirroan

Arrived by accident at this place. Discovered the awards boasts were no exageration. The pies were really very, very good. This from a Cornishman who believes Cornish pasties are the food of the Gods ! If you're passing through, stop. If you have passed through , stop, turn around and call in.

Large range of pies- sandwich bar - hot food - some seating inside some outside when we were there it was very busy so order times were a bit slow - But the food was worth the wait.

Drove through Gin Gin on the way from Gladstone to Brisbane - blink and you could miss it!! The Travellers Rest Cafe is a nice place to stop for a coffee. Offers indoor dining or take away.They had nice strawberries - sweet and delicious!! Coffee was good too. Look for the bright yellow painted cafe and you've found it - opposite the tourist information. Recommended!

Nous nous sommes présenté là vers 8h00am.Nous avons bien mangé. Services relativement rapide.Déco minimal mais ce n'est pas vraiment important.J'y retournerai.

My lunch stop most days, Travellers serve a fantastic range of award winning gourmet pies and my favourite, the sausage roll. Staff that are friendly, full of local knowledge and offer great service, make sure you stop in Gin Gin to try a pie!
