Secret Tea Garden Homestay - Tiracol

We stayed here and honestly loved the overall experience. The owners are too sweet and you will have a great time at their garden with the pets and not to forget its proximity to the beach.

I love the place! So cozy and beautiful, in the most beautiful village of Goa. Kanta and her husband are really carrying people. We had nice evenings with fire place with other foreigners who stayed there. We even cooked sometimes on fire and that was amazing. Other days Kanta was offering great food cooked by her in her Tea Garden Cafe. It was always delicious and authentic you won’t find anything like that in all commercial restaurants on the beach etc. the prices is good too! the place is quite and safe, good people, I really enjoyed my stay there and will definitely come back again!

Note: Ignore positive reviews. We went by the same and were cheated and robbed by the owners or say money robbers Nandu (drunkard) and Kanta (Meshthi Chorni). Since we wanted a peaceful place away from the hordes of Goa tourists, we went as per reviews and recommendations from @countingmiles the youtuber AMIT, initially we were informed that the room would cost us Rs 500 per night, after checkout lady Says it is 500 rupees per night. If we stay for more than a month, otherwise it is Rs 750, to add to this that drunken husband says Rs 1000 for the utilities used and some extra charges which he was not able to explain and also threatens that he will call the local people if we are not paying the bill as per his calculations which was now 1000 rupees for only one day stay....the place is not even 10% of what the pictures actually show. It's a slum and inside the so called basti area, where once you get there you just have to pay their demand and they won't even care about something called HUMANITY, whatever matters to them It is a business that is also an inhuman occupation, they were so inhuman that we left that place in a day and moved to another place. It is a sincere and humble request not to promote these people who are always drunk and stoned with money looted from their guests. Due to the uproar caused by them during our checkout, we missed our last bus to the city for better accommodation. Due to this another 1k had to be spent for the cab. we've only had bad expensive experiences with them. It's not even worth thinking about when we want to remember our Goa vacation.
