Jimmy John's - Tinley Park

One item was missing from my order. A young lady approached and asked if I needed help. I showed her my order confirmation and pointed out that the fresh bread was missing. She then turned to me and asked what she should do. I mentioned that she should give me the bread, but after that, no one else assisted me. I witnessed this same scenario with three other customers. I reached out to Jimmy John's through their company website regarding this issue, and they directed my concern to the store. The young lady, whose real name is Emily, and the manager defended her actions by claiming that she had stopped baking bread at midnight and had no way to inform customers about missing items until they arrived. Since a phone number is required for each order, she could have called me to explain and apologize for the inconvenience. Instead, Emily simply apologized for my confusion, which felt insincere. First of all, it shouldn't take that long to bake bread. Secondly, since a phone number is required, she had every opportunity to reach out and clarify the situation. I felt treated like a nuisance rather than a valued customer. I hope the owner sees this because, if it’s the same owner from 2006, I know he wouldn't condone this kind of service or treatment of his customers.

The Thai chicken wrap was good. They no longer use wheat wrappers, only broth for a lighter option.

I spent $22 on two sandwiches, and each one had only a thin slice of meat. I like to call it a "brot sandwich." At first, I thought they might have forgotten to add meat to the turkey sandwich, but then I saw they actually sell sandwiches with just bread, lettuce, tomatoes, and mayo. I understand that they've raised prices and reduced the meat as part of cost-cutting measures, but it's just absurd!

Often turn, so eating and delivery are inconsistent.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was fresh and delicious AS EXPECTED! Don't let the other comments deter you from enjoying JJ's. The place was clean and there was some great music playing.
