Durbin's Tinley Park

Last year, my husband and I dined at this restaurant during lent for the all you can eat perch dinner and we enjoyed our meal. We decided to invite friends to join us for dinner last Friday. Unfortunately, our experience was not as pleasant this time. The same server walked past our table multiple times before I had to shout out to get her attention and confirm if she was our server. It took a long time to get our cocktails and place our orders. There were several mix-ups with our orders - my husband and I ordered perch with rice but he received fries instead, while our friend received veggies instead of coleslaw. There was confusion with my meal so it was sent back to the kitchen, only to find out that my meal had been given to another party and their meal was sent back. The food was barely warm and the veggies were water-soaked and cool. However, the second serving of perch was hot and delicious, and my husband even had a third serving which he enjoyed. Overall, the experience left us disappointed and we would have to seriously reconsider returning, as it seemed like there may have been issues with the kitchen or serving staff.

The service at Durbins was excellent, with a very attentive server. Our favorite dishes were the pizza and, of course, the donut holes.

The service was very poor and they frequently ran out of items.

Steaks over cooked. Broccoli literally all stems. Server did not offer second glass of wine or desert. We won't be back

Good was really good last time, but just fair this time. Good bar food is what I'd say. We both had steak sandwiches. The pizzas looked really good, although we haven't tried it. Our waiter was nice, but incredibly slow and inattentive.
