What a wonderful little place this is. Went here to grab a meal on the night we arrived, very pleasantly surprised by the selection as well as prices for $9.00 you can have a piece of battered, crumbed or grilled fish with chips and salad as well as a couple of slices of buttered bread. Amazing that they can do this for the price, the staff are very helpful as well as cheerful, my wife has a problem with wheat so they made sure that everything was to her order. They are also BYO so we took a bottle of wine, we asked for a wine cooler and out it came with heaps of ice, next door is the sit down eating area and there are glasses, plastic cutlery as well as serviettes. I was amazed as to how the place is decked out if it wasn't so open (roof under cover) you would think this what a restaurant. Highly recommend this is good food for very little money.

Just looking at the menu, you could mistake this outlet as "just another seafood/burger joint" - but the difference is in the love and care that goes into the food preparation. Good quality ingredients, cooked and presented with simple attention to detail. Very clean and hygienic kitchen. The location is great, with plenty of tables on-premises, or a number of picnic tables on the esplanade opposite - with pleasant views across Tin Can Bay. The picnic tables are also a great option if you are travelling with pets. Dogs are permitted on leash.The Snack Shack deserves its high rating. Congrats to the owners and the team for a great effort. I will be returning for more tomorrow!

Yummo!! Best fish ever! Only $9.99 for fish and chips, we sat across the road in the rotunda next to the water - thoroughly enjoyable.

While staying with friends at Tin Can Bay recently, we had takeaway from here one evening. We each had the fish and chip pack which cost $9.90 per serve. The pack was very impressive with fresh crumbed fish, ample chips and a huge serve of fresh salad on the side. We were all impressed and can see why The Snack Shack is so popular. Would highly recommend either eating in or ordering takeaway.
