Outstanding! My husband and I had the absolute pleasure of dining in this stunning restaurant a few weeks ago to celebrate our 13th wedding anniversary. The views are spectacular and the food, which is an array of fresh local produce matched that view perfectly. We have both been lucky to dine in many top restaurants some Michelin starred, and the skills of the chef coupled with the finess of the dishes on display at Uig Sands was equally as good in our opinion. The staff were attentive and very friendly, if you are in the area and this beautiful restaurant is open be sure to book a table, the views alone are worth it. Thank you for a beautiful meal, and hopefully we will see you again soon.
A breathtaking view for a birthday meal was the initial draw for us, but the kind hospitality and high quality of food came as a welcome surprise. The three course dinner was beautiful and so delicious, the staff catered for our every need. Highly recommend booking this place in advance as a highlight of your trip to the wonderful Harris isle.
Before I even start, this place definitely deserves a Michelin star. It is advisable to make a reservation in advance, either by phone or online, as the restaurant tends to be extremely busy. Located in Uig, Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides (not Skye), this restaurant offers stunning sea views, delicious food, and a good selection of drinks. While primarily a seafood restaurant, they offer a variety of dishes to cater to everyone's taste. The 3-course menu costs around £55 per person, which may seem expensive, but the exquisite flavors and enjoyable experience make it worth it. The service is excellent and the interior design is genuine. We highly recommend trying the scallops and langoustine, and the chef certainly deserves compliments for the delightful dishes. Special mention goes to the indulgent desserts.
