Stone Mill Bakery - Timonium

My husband and I visited this restaurant for the first time this morning during our trip to the area. I have to say, they definitely deserve a 5-star rating. The large biscuits were the best I've ever had - crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The same goes for the French baguette. The breakfast sandwich made with the biscuit was generously sized, delicious, and made to order. The coffee was hot and fresh. In my opinion, the food, while not cheap, was worth the price considering the portion size, quality, atmosphere, and service. The owner treated us like valued customers. As a food enthusiast who cooks and bakes often and travels extensively for work, I highly recommend this place to those who appreciate good food. It's refreshing to see an owner who takes so much pride in their business.

I was in the neighborhood and wanted to try a highly-rated restaurant for breakfast, so I decided to give this place a shot. I ordered the Western omelette meal, but unfortunately, the potatoes were cold and stale, and the toast was hard. Although I don't mind spending $20 on a good breakfast, this meal did not meet my expectations. I will be back in the area in two weeks, but I won't be returning to this restaurant for breakfast or anything else.

My husband and I have enjoyed supporting this place since we were dating! For us the drive is not short but it is worth it for the very best breakfast and lunch in the area! The staff is warm and knowledgeable, the atmosphere casual and comfortable and the food is impeccable. Everything is made and ingredients selected with such care, down to the tea selection. Lastly, I rarely leave without taking something from the bakery, delectable!

I love the customer service and people, however the food is not worth the cost AT ALL.. I use to love it here but I find they are giving lil to no meat. The Quesadilla was the worst I ever had I thought maybe it came with green peppers and onions it was nothing but she’s two pieces of meat all cheese. TO EXPENSIVE for such lil food. It was four pieces one had no meat and the rest had two. SO DISAPPOINTED

Fantastic food, service was fine. We might have overwhelmed them a bit with the other soccer teams in the area all descending in them at once. We were here for a soccer tournament and in between games went to grab some brunch. The food was delicious and the restaurant is very quaint without door seating and indoor seating. Everything seems to be organic and natural very well cooked nicely seasoned. Overall we had a great experience though it took a little while for us to get our food but, as I said, I think we just overwhelmed them with numbers because a soccer team with their parents quickly becomes a large party. And I think there were at least two teams there. I thought they did a great job and I would definitely go back, in fact we tried to go back the next day but they're closed on Sundays. Which is great, I just wish they'd been open for me, :
