Bierhaus - Timişoara

Interesting location close to the center of town with a lot of beers on tap. The service was pleasant and the atmosphere quite with subtle music in the background, however the prices were quite high compared to other beer places.

It was a winter day, so we decided to get warm here and try some Romanian beers. The offer was OK, I had better once - but much better then we expected. I also liked the way waiters were dressed and the blackboard had some funny messages (photo).I did not like that working hours were for Saturday even though it was Friday and it was not stated anywhere. Thus, we 'kissed the doors' initially and came back after.

Wir waren heute mit 8 Jungs im Bierhaus. Das Ambiente ist recht rustikal, die Getränkekarte bietet für Bierliebhaber eine Menge Spielraum. Weltweit bekannte Biere werden angeboten, dazu gab es wahlweise Cocktails, Longdrinks und Shots. Die Preise sind sehr moderat und nebenbei kann auch Fußball geschaut werden.

I would avoid as lots of better option, group of 8 and we entered an empty bar, asked if we had reserved, the place was empty, told we couldn't wait at the bar while beer was pulled, shown to a table near door, asked if they could turn the music up " NO" came the reply. Left after one drink and was obvious why the place was empty

Having read the reviews we thought we'd have a great time at the Bierhaus.... upon arrival we weren't exactly welcomed, we were asked if we had reserved a table, which we obviously hadn't and was very odd as were the only ones in the bar!! The barman was very slow in pouring drinks and then we were told where to sit. We decided not to have another beer but find another bar which wasn't like a morgue and actually wanted our money...... Bierhaus loss was another bar's gain!!
