Berăria 700 - Timişoara

Horribly managed place just avoid it! The service personnel behaved totally unorganized and uninterested on what is going around them. We ended up waiting for a beer for 30 minutes while 5 6 waiters went around playing as mannequins or whatever. Never again. Btw, I never write reviews but this was an awful experience

Staff wasn't ill intended, and yet.... We waited so long for the food to arrive that I just ate the bread they brought us(didn't even order the bread, was still charged for it for some reason). Food was mediocre, prices are way too high for the quality, or, should I say, lack of quality of the food. Once we asked for the check, we had to wait for a long time AGAIN for the waitress to bring the POS. Normally I would understand the long waiting time if it's a place that's full of customers, but we were the only ones there. We later found some pretty cool restaurants on our trip, I'd recommend you skip this one though. Shame, the location itself is really pretty.

This famous city center restaurant is the perfect place for a Roman-style date night. The menu is well filled with delicious dishes freshly cooked from local ingredients. The restaurant is popular and constantly visited by locals and visitors of the city. Enter the perfect place for a special occasion, also offers a different menu and the walls are decorated with a lot of distinctive elements that create an iconic interior. It is a heaven for meat lovers.

A very nice restaurant in the heart of Timisoara, near the old center, in one of the only two remaining bastions of the old Timişoara citadel. An excellent place to dive if you want to enjoy traditional Romanian cuisine in an archaic environment. There is a large outdoor terrace that is flanked on one side by the centuries-old brick wall that really takes you back in time and also houses the interior of the restaurant. The staff is very nice, welcoming and well maintained. The service is fast and the food is delicious and authentic. The menu is very diverse and there is an outdoor grill where you can actually observe how your food is prepared. While doing this, you can even get the chance to hear a live band playing traditional music. Even if you are visiting or resident in Timișoara, you should definitely check them out! Enjoy!

Our church mission group enjoyed our first meal at this restaurant. I cannot remember seeing such a variety of high-quality meat on one platter!
