The Speight’s Ale House - Timaru

Warm atmosphere on a chilly night with attentive, friendly staff and good range of beers, wines and food. My only comment I have was the venison was served in a dark coloured bowl and would have looked better on a white plate. The meal was excellent with popping flavours but not a popping presentation. I'll be back.

This place is truly amazing! The food was outstandingly delicious, the service was fantastically friendly and the prices were appropriate for the quality food. Would definitely recommend.

Went today with my daughter and granddaughter for lunch, great meal, staff were tidy in their uniforms, personable and offered great service and to top it off great tasting coffee that was hot. We will be back, it's just a pity we live out of town so can't go as often as we would like
