Upper Crust Pizzeria - Tilton

Let me say this, I came in here and this lovely woman waited on me and I asked if I could try a meatball so I would know wether I would order them. Very accommodating and when I say absolutely “Delicious” Nick made my Sub and it was outstanding! Next I find out you might change these meatballs (please don’t) I’m in Food Service in Massachusetts as a Manager for a company and I also cater. Best Meatball Sub ever!! Hands down!! Upper Crust is a great little place with great food. Only problem is, it is hard to find unless you know where to look. Yes, they are a pizza and sub shop However, they make pretty great food. Not sure who the two guys are that work there but they are friendly and down to Earth type of guys that always greet you. I usually get a loaded steak and cheese with the frys. The steak is always good and never greasy. The fries are great, crispy and delicious; never old grease taste like some places. The inside used to be really nice looking but seems to be very plain with lots of potential. I only gave them 4 stars because of the female who works there. Not sure if she owns the place or a manager. She seems to let her emotions get to her sometimes as she is nit as friendly as the two males. I would recommend this place as I really enjoy it. The food is great, fast and delicious. No waiting for over an hour for food like some places.

I had a fantastic first visit to this restaurant while driving back to Connecticut. The service was both personal and professional, thanks to Debbie, who made the atmosphere very welcoming. I ordered a large and delicious grilled chicken salad, and the highlight was when the owner had the kitchen prepare a fresh pizza just for me so I could enjoy a slice of cheese. It was one of the best pizzas I've had in some time. These thoughtful gestures are what customers truly remember. I stumbled upon this place after being frustrated with the long wait at a nearby restaurant, which had empty tables, but now it will be my top choice whenever I'm in Tilton. Excellent job!
