Tilt'n Diner - Tilton

I always visit Tilton Diner whenever I come to New Hampshire. I have been doing this 2-3 times a year for about 20 years and I have never been disappointed until now. Yesterday, my husband ordered a chicken sandwich which was okay in the middle but dry on the outer part, so he only finished half of it. I ordered a meatball sandwich and requested no salami, but it came with melted cheese covering it. I removed more than half of the cheese, but it was missing the marinara sauce that was supposed to be included. I only ate some of the meatballs because they were dry. The service was very poor and the waitress seemed indifferent. I was very disappointed and unsure if I would go back.

I ordered the shepherd's pie and it had a layer of grease at least half an inch thick on the bottom. Absolutely revolting!

I decided to order a meatball sandwich without salami, but it arrived with melted cheese and lacking marinara sauce. I only managed to eat some of the meatballs due to how dry it was. The service was also poor, with the waitress showing little care. Overall, I was very disappointed and unsure if I would return.

I ordered many meals from these fine people. I had nothing to go wrong with my meals. I love her shepherds. I had liver and onions, fish and chips, hot turkey dinner, hamburger and some breakfast. Everything was good and very well done.

It came in melted cheese so removed more than 1/2 of it, but it lacked the marinara sauce that should be included. So only some of the meatballs ate because it was so dry. The service was very poor and the waitress couldn't care less. Very disappointed. Not sure I'd go back.
