Just walked out of La Mexicana. They had the absolute best shredded beef I have ever eaten. EVER. And I have eaten Mexican all over the world. Stop by and order this. Homemade and the absolute best.
Funky Lil Mexican spot in an old house. The restaurant was fairly clean. The only server was a bit lacking luster as I had to flag her down for every single thing. Food was not amazing as it had been previously cooked and then frozen. It had a weird texture and was dry, yet greasy. The meat and veggies had an unpleasant flavor. The toppings were fresh at least which made it edible. The chips were old and salsa and bean dip were not great either. After asking for a check we decided to leave. Not bringing leftovers with us; Which we never do, that should tell you all you need to know. Wheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair friendly.
