Rose's Family Restaurant - Tilbury

Located on main strip of Tilbury Ontario this Resturant has a stream of regulars and tourists who come in for a good meal. The wall has pics of James Dean, Elvis , and Marylyn Monroe.Food portion very generous. Homemade burgers. Parking is mainly on the street. Also licence for alcohol if that is what you crave with your dining experience . I'll be back when I'm in tilbury again.

First time to this restaurant. Servers were not very friendly. When asked what kind of soup they had, waitress said "It's up on the board" with a disgusted look on her face. My friend's bun for her sausage fell apart as it was a soty hotdog bun rather than a sausage bun, When she asked for another, again the waitress said nothing, turned away and eventually returned with the same type of bun with a scowl on her face. They had no desserts except butter tarts sitting on a plate at the checkout counter. We never did have our bill given to us..had to go to the counter to pay.The washroom was adequate but only had a roll of cheap, brown paper towel sitting on a wet sink.Won't be returning here again. Save your money and go to Tim Horton's up the street.

Roses has the best burgers in town! Love eating here but sometimes it hard to find a seat! Great portions.

Have visited this little restaurant a number of times. Usually on my way to Chatham. The breakfast special is totally awesome and there is plenty of it. They have great dinner specials, which I have also enjoyed. The prices are very reasonable and the food is plentiful. The service is great as well. Just a down home atmosphere with home cooked meals. You won't regret stopping here.

This restaurant seems small at the front, but had a large dining room at the back for larger groups. They have several specials on a board in addition to the menu.The food is good.....with a variety of normal soups, sandwiches, hamburgs, and different combos. When we were there last I had a Reuben sandwich and enjoyed it.
