Everywhere else would have been $4000. The place is dirty and we waited for our food for 45 minutes. Desaster!!!! Avoid this place really!
We were recommended to this restaurant by our guide and it was not disappointed. Both steak and fish were very tasty as well as cheese starter. The wine was also great. The staff was very attentive and helpful. Would you like to suggest this restaurant if you want a good local food at a reasonable price
We stopped to have a quick lunch while on tour in the area. The food was delicious I had a meat sandwich for which I should die. The sauces were wonderful. Our waitress was friendly and friendly. Although we don't speak Spanish, she helped us through the menu. I'd eat here The next time we go through. I only have negative, use the bathroom.
To walk around the Puerto de Frutos there were many restaurants, but their TripAdvisor ratings were not exactly stellar. The same went for La Ranchera, although it had the highest rating of the heap, so I left. I ordered the “parrillada por dos” and when the waiter opened an eyebrow indicating that this would be a whole lot of meat for a person, I told him I would take the remains home to make for a simple dinner. “Great idea! No problem!” he explained. The waiting time is what should be expected when meat is grilled on site. There were two huge cuts of beef (with little fat), two different sausages, one piece or chicken and some kidneys and other organs. I love kidneys, but to be honest, I had much better. I think they are simply not made for grilling because I had no single grilled kidney (or liver) in Argentina that was really good. They are too charred and dry. Beef was delicious. The chicken is well baked with transparent, crispy skin. The sausages (two varieties) tastefully and perfectly cooked. All this meat was accompanied by a Malbec wine from Los Alamos, probably one of my favorites. Interesting note: You have 3/4 bottles. All in all this was a very good meal. I took half the beef and a sausage home for dinner and half a lunch. Don't be shy, but good food should never be wasted, right? Service fast, friendly and effective. Payments accepted by card.
We were rushed by time and our guide recommended this place. It seemed attractive, the prices were reasonable and the menu was completely in Spanish, which got us. Maybe we asked for bad, but the food was not good. Two meals and a bottle of wine were fine for $40, along with a very nice bartender, but I wish we had more time to look around. I'm sure there are better options.
