I noticed this place by accident when laughing at the gelato sign for the business on the floor below it, and I 'm glad I did. On my 2nd visit, they had the chef come out to take my order, because he spoke English, so that was kind of cool. I tried a couple things, and everything was DELICIOUS! Friendly service, lots of smiles, decent prices. I wish I could go a 3rd time. Try the spicy mock-beef skewers from the appetizer section! The menu has English and pictures, which is super great. I tried to ask the chef about whether everything was vegan or if they have dairy (there 's a no egg symbol on the menu), and it turned into him thinking I was trying to order a glass of milk, so I can 't tell you what of items are actually vegan, but it seems like most are.
The owners of the lotus (meito la and chichen la) also have the restaurant in the 2. Stock taken over and have a generous vegan buffet (48CNY per person from November 2019). above the 3rd Stock is a vegan la carte with many mock meat dishes. they speak English well and debunken the myth that Tibetans cannot be vegan! meito la was very helpful, friendly and food was great/many options.
A beautiful vegetarian restaurant with many vegan options. Very central location and easy to find according to the above descriptions. The food was always beautifully presented and was delicious and plentiful. I was recommended several times.
The place is easy to find when you read the previous reviews and have looked at the photos. Disorders vary anywhere from 18-60RMB, so it really hangs what you order. You can make it really cheap if that's your plan. It is nice food and the staff is extremely helpful and friendly. You may not have everything on the menu, due to the season or quantity they have used on a specific day. All in all. Top 3 to go to Lhasa.
