El Tambor - Tibabita

Great food in a fantastic location. Tables (big rocks) and chairs (street stumps) in a grassy, outdoor, pet-friendly environment. Baskets of BBQ style food were varied, plentiful and well made. Order by the number of people eating and simply take a pre-constructed basket of food, or choose all your items to build your own. Beer and drinks were cold. Dessert is also on the scene, although we did not have room for more food! The prices were great. Cool mood to eat on the grass knoll. Children play and love life for priority and dogs also seem quite satisfied. Absolutely worth the stop to get your filling of Colombian style food and BBQ. Yum.

This restaurant is perfect for a lunch with the family on the outside, it offers grilled food including beff, pork, chicken, potatoes.

Family time on a rainy Sunday. Because the place is open it was a little bit messy. But food is great!!

This is slightly outside the city, and from Usaquen will take you about 30 minutes on a good traffic day, or much more on a normal day. During slow times, it does take a while to get your food made, but on busy days I...was told they have much prepared ahead so it is often quick. There is a large outdoor covered seating area with probably a hundred tables, so this place can get busy. As far as meats, they have grilled steak, sausages (regular and blood sausage), grilled field corn, little yellow potatos, arepas, chicken, pork skins, and a few of the national beers, plus soda and other hot drinks. Prices are good, a couple of bucks for most meats unless you get a big plate to share which will run around $10. We got a trashcan lid size plate of various items above for about $75 USD. They have a petting zoo for kids, and other activities but we didn't get to check it out because it was raining the day we visited which also kept the crowds to a minimum.

Very traditional place in a very nice setting in the mountains outside of Bogota - you need a car to get there but it is definitely worth it. Loved their food and the casual seating on wooden stools and having a piece of rock as a table :)
