Wonderful friendly staff and a great chef. Had a lovely lunch of Jamon and melon and also the prawn salad , and a bottle of crisp rose’ wine, all very tasty and fresh, and large portions, we were so impressed that we booked a table for the same evening and had their seafood paella which was equally very good. It is better make a reservation as they get really busy at all times. They have a vast variety of dishes to choose from all of which excellent. If you don’t want to eat anything it’s nice just to sit and have a drink and relax.
Lovely food but the male waiter (owner? was very offensive. He was able to put on a strong west of Ireland accent which was funny for the first 5 minutes but then really tiresome and offensive. He didn't read the group. After a while we just didn't find it funny for someone to keep slagging off one of our regional accents. The experience overall was disappointing in terms of customer service. I would not return . The female waitress (owner also perhaps was very nice.
We have been coming to Puerto del carmen for years, and our favourite place, for lunch and even dinner is this little gem hidden down a flight of steps to an Oasis right on the beach. To the Fish and King prawn skewers to their signature Terraza Playa salad it's all about chillin out and enjoying the surroundings and the experience, so thank you to Maria and all the staff here because it's your hard work that make the Business. Always spotless and worth a visit, a must go to place.
We ate a grilled for two that wore a bass, a golden two gambones four mussels and salad accompanied by some potatoes with green and red mojo, was all very good, the price was correct, the spectacular enclave.
Restaurant with sea views, good food, nothing expensive.
