Anokha - Thurrock

Thank you, Anokha, for the outstanding meal tonight. It was perfect in every way - delicious and perfectly cooked. - Hot.

I decided to try out this Bangladeshi takeaway since it recently opened. They offer all the usual dishes, but also some new ones that caught my attention. I ordered the Modhu Lamb, which was chunks of lamb cooked with honey and mint, mixed with baby new potatoes in a delicious sauce. It was incredibly tasty and superb. Another dish I tried for the first time was the Niramish, fried mixed vegetables with herbs, which was also delicious. I also had a Keema Nan and mushroom pilau rice. Despite it being a busy Saturday evening, my food was ready and brought out to me within 10 minutes, so I was very pleased with the service. Anokha not only has the usual dishes, but also authentic Bangladeshi options. The service was excellent, the food was fantastic and plentiful, and the prices were very reasonable.

I recently moved to the area and was very impressed by the food at this restaurant. I would give it a 100% recommendation.

I had an excellent dining experience the first time I visited this restaurant. The food was piping hot and the server was very polite and attentive. I would definitely be happy to dine here again in the future.
