Thurles Golf Club

We had a really good meal here. Good service and very reasonable prices. Staff were friendly. Only demerit would be there was dead flies on the window sill beside our table. There was some sort of golf function on and we were placed in a big room away from others on our own despitehaving booked a table for two. On the one hand I can understand them doing this but on the other hand where we were sat had no atmosphere as we were on our own. Nevertheless I'd come here again for the food.

The food at this restaurant is absolutely amazing at any time of day. The prices are very reasonable and they serve beautiful coffee. The staff is incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming. I highly recommend this restaurant.

While in the area for work, I stumbled upon the golf club and decided to stop in. I was greeted by a beautiful and charming clubhouse. The menu at the club was impressive for a golf club. I was very hungry, so I ordered a beef burger cooked to perfection. It was delicious, but I still had room for a delectable hot apple crumble served with custard, cream, and berries. I also asked for a scoop of ice cream, which the staff happily provided. Needless to say, I left feeling fully satisfied. The prices were reasonable as well. I will definitely be returning!

Great sea bass but limited choice for vegetarians. We were lucky it wasn’t too busy and they fixed a delicious omelette. Plenty space to relax. Welcome service. Great location.

Had lunch atmosphere is lovely and staff are fab my only grievance is there is no main course for a vegetarian I had to settle for a superfood salad it was only OK dressing was very oily and overpowered the sweet potato and everything else on the plate 3 cubes of feta cheese that didn't taste like feta a nice simple light vinegarette would go much better with this the rest of my group had no issues with the beef it looked lovely and big portions. Just maybe a main course veggie dish that's not a salad added to the menu would make a difference
