The experience was average. It's not an ideal spot for anyone over 12 looking for a straightforward lunch, as the kids' menu is more suited for simpler tastes.

The food is scrumptious. The owner was extremely friendly and sweet. The decor is very rustic and we loved the experience. We had the specials and the chicken and waffles Benedict. The second time we went, we had the red pepper pasta and the trio plate with two salads and a soup.

I recommend this restaurant to anyone who asks. A true hidden gem in Thunder Bay. Their food, service and small home style restaurant is absolutely the best in this city. The eggs benedict is a favourite, actually ALL of their breakfast is outstanding. We crave their food and love the kindness that exudes from the owners.
