Manchu Wok - Thunder Bay

I was genuinely thrilled to find them open in the mall after such a long pandemic quarantine. It felt like a step towards normalcy and brought back a lot of nostalgic memories.

Situated within the Intercity shopping mall, this restaurant offers a dine-in experience, although the dining area shares space with other food establishments in the mall. The food is tasty and reasonably priced, especially when trying out the combo meals. However, the portion sizes can vary, which seems to depend on the server assisting you. While some staff members are friendly and welcoming, others do not always exhibit the same level of friendliness.

This is my go to place for lunch. Staff is very nice and polite and will try to accommodate request. Quality of food and service have improved.

I really love this place, but I feel that it was better last year. I think they may have changed chefs, possibly about a year ago. They were often closed during COVID, which might have affected things. I still enjoy it, but it's just not the same as it used to be at the Thunder Bay location. I’d love to find the chef they had before.
