Jalisco Taqueria - THREE RIVERS

If your looking for authentic Mexican food, this is it! I make it appoint to stop in on my trips to and from McAllen. Everything I've tried is excellent! Chips are fresh and hot sauce is excellent. Usually only one waitress, but she's very attentive. Not a fancy place, but it's clean and the food is worth the stop.

I give it 2 on food for the simple. Nothing spectacular. The food is never hot. When you server can carry your plate by hand and the food is not even lukewarm inside to say the least. They Bar is well stocked. Margaritas are awesome too. They bar I give a 4.5

This is a place I only come to occasionally because I live an hour away. But if I could, I would love to eat there every day. My favorite thing to get there is their Barbacoa! It. Is. Freaking. Delicious. And their green sauce, chefs kiss! I love their horchata and I am the worlds biggest horchata critic. No one can make it like my mamita but this place gets close to it. Oh and their tortillas are homemade and so yummy!

We waited in the drive thru for over 30 minutes. For about 15 of those minutes, we were the only ones in the drive thru line. Thinking that they may have forgot our order, we went back around. We were told that they had a lot of to go orders and that we had to wait. My husband asked how much longer it would be and we were told that they didn't know. The service was horrible. The wait was outrageous. 6:30pm on a Friday night. I realize this is a busy hour, but at least great us at the window, cash us out, or bring us our drink. Horrible service.
