Excellent food cooked well and on time. Very happy with the service, waiter was knowledgeable and friendly. Would definitely come back again.

Booked a table for Monday night dinner. From the moment we arrived, we felt the waiting staff wanted us to order, eat our meal and leave as soon as possible. Not ideal for a leisurely post lockdown dinner with friends I hadn’t been out with for a year.Menu was quite limited, which was fine for us meat eaters but meant little choice for the vegetarian in our party. In fairness, the food was fine so no complaints there. But the constant hurrying us along got very wearing. We were rushed to order our mains, rushed to decide whether we wanted dessert, rushed to pay the bill. I could have understood this if the restaurant was busy or indeed we were the last party left but neither was the case. By the end of the meal, the waitress had cleared every last glass and item possible (while we were still sat at the table) to encourage us to leave. In the end, we were told the restaurant was closing at so we left (along with quite a few other diners who were still there).As a result, it rather ruined the atmosphere of our dinner so we won’t be returning. We thought that restaurants would be keen to recoup the lost revenue from covid restrictions and would be encouraging customers to stay and keep spending but that wasn’t the case on this occasion. I don’t like leaving negative reviews but hopefully this is a minor issue that is easily remedied.

Great food, service was a bit slow and the place was not that busy. Plenty of parking.

Sadly ....a very poor experience. Very slow service and our chosen food options off the lunch time menu we're not available. We waited nearly an hour for our starters and my mushroom starter was oily and smothered with cheese. The menu stated oven baked mushrooms ......no cheese mentioned? My friend had the calamari which was very poor. The main course Caesar salad had very stale lettuce and was inedible. I ordered the steak sandwich without the bread and a small side salad. Steak Ok but the salad was very poor and tired. Had to ask for dressing. An hour and half later when we tried to order coffee ....we were advised that it would be a long wait. All credit to the waitresses who tried to deal with the slow processing of our food orders and also the realistic delay for us to get our coffee! We opted out and left because we couldn't deal with another long wait. I am aware that a large party arrived just before us for lunch .....but that shouldn't mean that anyone arriving after them has to suffer. If there's only one coffee maker who's trying to produce 15 different coffee orders from one machine ....then coffee shouldn't be on the menu. Unfortunately it will not be a restaurant that I will be returning to until things improve dramatically!
