Karma Indian Cuisine - Thousand Oaks

The food and service were outstanding! The interior was charming and cozy. Our group enjoyed a variety of appetizers (including grilled chicken, fish, and lamb with peppers and onions), two entrees, and a delicious homemade ice cream dessert. The quality of the meats was exceptional! Bobby provided excellent recommendations and was incredibly hospitable.

The inviting scent of deliciousness summoned my family and I into this gem which we cannot wait to visit again. We're not familiar with Indian cuisine but the staff was very helpful and served up one of the best meals we've had in a long time! Everything from the appetizers to the entrees were delicious and we look forward to enjoying many other menu items very soon. Our only regret is that we waited so long to try this place and we'll definitely be back soon. Great food!

Do NOT eat here unless you're extremely hungry and nowhere else to get Indian food! I understand California prices but the prices were outrageous! $23 for a dinner plate? Really? It only had 2 curries and weren't even enough of a portion size! Eaten better Indian food in a flight to Indian. Not even the Veggies were cooked to full Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch

This restaurant is a hidden gem located in a strip mall among some random shops, making it easy to overlook. After visiting Starbucks next door, we decided to give this place a try. We ordered mirchi chicken kabob, malai kofta, butter chicken (makhani), garlic naan, and basmati rice. The food was outstanding. The mirchi chicken kabob was exceptionally spicy (mirchi means chili in Hindi), but the flavors were diverse and delicious. The service was also excellent, with attentive staff checking on us multiple times throughout the meal.

Overall, this restaurant is lackluster. The service is decent, but the food does not live up to the standards of other Indian restaurants nearby.
