An excellent mix of both Himalayan and Indian cuisine, with an interior decor that reflects well on both cultures with images of mountains and decorated with Tibetan prayer scarves of blue, white, red, yellow and green. There was even a special dining spot available on a raised platform with a low table and cushions for those wanting a more authentic dining experience. Enjoyed a fare of paneer tikka masala over rice, my companion appreciating the tofu saag, with some simple soup that would keep you warm on a cold night in the Himalayas. Soft, but crispy garlic naan bread made good for mopping up the sauces, and a wonderful dining experience. Our waiter R provided excellent service with good attention and made sure our visitation was very satisfying. There are even some gifts and curios available for purchase, to make the cultural atmosphere something to take home and enjoy, as well. Thank you for a most pleasant and fulfilling experience. Peace and prosperity to all the staff members, and may they have all customers with perfect satisfaction, onwards and upwards.
What a Disappointment The waitress said the Owner hasn't changed but... Is side looks default. We always Oder same dishes , today, Everything tasted completely different!!!!! Where did the old owner go, does somebody know?
Absolutely delicious! We stopped here, very hungry, after a day out hiking at the Channel Islands. We ordered Samosas, Kathmandu Chicken, and Korma Chicken--everything was fantastic and generous portions. If we lived in the area, we would have to eat here at least once a month!
No matter what you order, make sure to always add the Tikka Chicken pizza to your meal at this restaurant. It is filling on its own and comes with a soup of the day. I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was the first time I tried it, and I have been ordering it ever since. It even tastes good the next day when reheated in the fridge. This time, I ordered the meal for two, which included lamb Tikka and shrimp Vindaloo. The shrimp was large and portioned well, and the sauce was spicy. The lamb was delicious and came with veggies, rice, naan, and dessert. I chose the mango ice cream for dessert, which was very refreshing. The restaurant offers a wide variety of vegetarian options, as well as goat, fish, chicken, and alcohol. They currently offer outside dining with plenty of parking available. Before COVID, they had a bar and plenty of seating inside with beautiful decor. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Overall, this is a great place to eat and enjoy a meal.
