I don't know if it's the local taste or if a barista had a small blunder during busy hours, but I unfortunately didn't enjoy my cappuccino. The espresso tasted bitter and ashy and the milk had denatured—scalding hot, too. The coffee cake, on the other hand, tasted great. Overall, it's okay. I like the vibe. Perhaps the other food and drink items are better. I'll have to try some others items the next time I'm in the area. It's still way better than going to a large, corporate coffee franchise.
507 has a great selection of really well made specialty coffees and this is a European talking. The atmosphere is very unique for T.O. Seems more like a trendy coffee shop you would find in urban New York or San Francisco instead of in the suburbs. The service is very professional and friendly. My favorite in the area!
Let me start by saying they have it all including speciality drinks, coffee bar, eats and more. Lots of options and locally owned. Although a coffee shop, I think their smoothies are fantastic. The weekend warrior (included organic spinach, strawberry, banana, ginger maca) had me feeling refreshed and satisfied. Loved this concoction and barely tasted my greens! Ordered my toddlers the Kauai smoothie and they slurped every last sip. The smoothies are reasonably priced at $7 each, especially considering the quality ingredients. Feeling the need for something sweet we added the Cinnamon Toast Crunch Toast. Not overly sweet, and the pecans made it a little savory. Really tasty, only complaint it was a little small portion wise. This mama could have totally devoured more. Ordered a black coffee that was organic, well roasted and super smooth. Picked up an almond croissant to go for a friend and she raved about it. The staff were helpful and although a bit busy they worked hard to get food and drinks out with the quickness. Enjoyed eating on the patio. Great coffee and eats option in TO.
Was looking for an afternoon pick-me up so came across this cafe and got a cappuccino. I appreciate that if we're dining in, they serve their drinks in reusable cups. The cappuccino was delicious and it's definitely a popular spot so I feel like lucky that I was able to find a table to sit at. It has lots of seating inside and outside (in a large strip mall). It did feel a little messy but that obviously didn't impact my coffee experience, just the ambiance.
Came in for a light breakfast, grabbed a spooky mocha and coffee cake. Both were really good but I had to wait a bit for them.
