Swaddee House Of Thai Food - Thornwood

Another delicious meal--thanks Swaddee House! Som yum is just like it was in Thailand. Loved the pineapple fried rice and pumpkin-coconut custard too!

The food is delicious, the decor is authentic, and the staff is friendly! I can't wait to go back!

This is a great spot for Thai food. We especially like the spring rolls, Pad Thai, pad see ew, and Maasaman curry. There are vegetarian options like tofu and vegetarian duck. The outdoor patio is very nice and surrounded by pretty flowers and plants. Definitely check out this spot if you are looking for good Thai food.

The menu was extensive, with a variety of dishes including appetizers, entrees, and soups. You have to pay attention when reading the menu, as you first select the type of meat you want and then the noodles. The portion sizes were decent. We started with Tom Yum lemongrass soup and Tom Kha coconut soup, both of which were fantastic. For our main dishes, we ordered Chicken Pad Thai and Beef Pad Thai, both of which were excellent. We also tried the Samosas, which were great. Beni mentioned that the best way to stay updated on the restaurant's offerings is through Facebook. Overall, we had a great experience and it's worth noting that reservations are not necessary.
