This is my favorite coffee shop! The staff is extremely friendly, and they always get my order right.
The wait wasn't too bad, even though the restaurant is usually busy. However, the drinks seemed rushed; my frappe often had ice chunks or was over-crushed and watered down. The quality of the products isn't consistent.
This Starbucks is just like any other, consistent no matter the location. However, this one had freshly brewed coffee with three different varieties, and the service was faster than at other locations I typically visit. Great job, keep it up!
However, when I left with my drink, I realized they had forgotten the brown sugar. That's when the issues began. When I walked back in, I made eye contact with the barista, who rolled her eyes and said, "oh my god, she’s back." I want to emphasize that I wasn’t rude; I used to be a barista at Starbucks and understand the challenges staff face. I was then ignored for a few minutes, despite the fact that there were only about three other customers in the store, and I could see the baristas were just standing around. After saying "excuse me" for maybe the third time, an employee finally approached me but was quite snappy in her response. I apologized and explained that the brown sugar hadn't been added, and I requested that they just put some pumps in the cup. The barista reluctantly added the brown sugar, and rather than handing me the drink gently, she placed it on the counter with a bit too much force, even though my hand was extended. I understand that everyone can have a tough day, but it’s disappointing to take that frustration out on customers.
