Las Tortugas Thornton Mexican Sandwiches

I've lived in this area longer than this restaurant has been around, and that was the first time I decided to eat here. I've returned several times since because the food is just that good. They may not speak perfect English, but honestly, it doesn't matter—the food is incredible. I promise you’ll become addicted to this place. It's affordable, quick, and absolutely delicious!

The food is great, but it gets really hot while waiting inside the restaurant. I noticed that everyone outside is waiting for their takeout orders because no one wants to eat inside and see the workers sweating. They really need to install a fan or air conditioning.

This restaurant is incredible for enjoying an authentic torta. The staff is very friendly and even prepared a vegetarian option for us. While the large juice is on the pricey side, it's definitely worth it. Highly recommend this place, and I will be returning!

Came in my midday, quite quiet on a Friday afternoon. everything is fresh to order what I love. the Bolillo roll they were used for the sandwich was just really grilled, not over. very bad as they can see. the personal is also very friendly. the first time in this restaurant. Unfortunately there is no child menu, so these sandwiches are big enough to share with the children's cans. I personally couldn't eat a whole thing.

Waited over 45 min for one sandwich. Cold and mushy by the time I got my order. Worst torta I've ever had
