Hockey Sushi - Thornhill

How many things can go wrong. Called to place an order for pick up. The girl on the phone was rude and hung up after I asked a second question. Called back (Not sure why) and spoke to someone who had difficulty with English. She told me to come in 20min. Got there in about 25. 4 people waiting inside for orders and one between the doors so no way I was going in with no Covid distancing. I called to see if my order was ready (Got rude girl again) she said another 10 minutes. I continued to wait outside. Saw someone come back with food. Got the wrong order. Finally everyone left so I went in. Paid and then the girl tells me they accidentally gave part of my order to someone else. It will take another 10min. I cancelled that part of the order and she credited me back for the items I didn't get.. Went home and got the driest teriyaki chicken that had zero sauce on it. My sushi had a black hair on it. I don't have black hair. This place is a disaster and should be avoided. Bad service, food and no customer service. The name will probably change again soon.

1st thing I noticed is the service is better and friendlier. The food was very good. My only disappointment was the Miso soup. It was very watery. Otherwise all the other stuff was great!

The new name is Story Sushi but the food and mediocre service seems the same. The food is good. The servers talk to each other and say nothing when they drop a plate off. Their mid week all you can eat is $27 It was very quiet but it was a Monday.

We had a family celebration and all took the all you can eat option. Prices are reasonable and a discount for seniors over 65.We had a very wide variety, soups, sushi, sashimi, beef and ice cream

My wife and I went to Hockey Sushi for dinner. When we got home we were both ill. My wife called the restaurant twice and on both occasions was told that the manager was not available and would return her call. Our calls weren't returned and we definitely wont go back.
