Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen - Thomasville

Great food. But they always forget something! No fries in the bag, ordered 3 combos with fries.

The chicken was on point. This is my first time in years eating Popeyes chicken. Not only did they have an awesome rating of 97, they were friendly, and the wings were fresh and hot. I don't eat Popeye in my hometown, I'm sure most of you can guess why besides a low score. So this was a real treat for me. Next time I'm in Thomasville and want chicken, I know where to go.

My sister and I went right before or after Thanksgiving and ordered the bucket of chicken with mashed potatoes/gravy and Mac and cheese. I want to say there was something else but I can't remember. Got it to my parents and dug in. It was hot and fresh and hot the spot for all of us. We will all be back! And btw, I have never been one to order Mac and cheese from a fast food place, but I would order it again now. It was really good!

I had the popcorn shrimp and chicken strips along with coleslaw. The coleslaw was cool and crunchy. Coleslaw was easily the best part of the meal. The popcorn shrimp was the size of popcorn before it is popped. Much more breading than meat. To their credit the batter did have a good flavor. The two chicken strips were very crunchy (not in a good way) at the ends. I ate this food or rather most of it. I am in no hurry to go back.

The service was friendly, even though they were quite busy. The food was fresh and served hot; those spicy tenders and biscuits were the best I've had at any Popeyes! My family enjoyed their meals as well. We’re looking forward to our next visit when we’re in town!
