I usually refrain from writing reviews about poor service because I recognize how challenging this line of work can be, especially given the dynamics between service staff and customers. While it's reasonable to expect the occasional bad interaction, it becomes a more serious issue when it happens consistently. Unfortunately, during our last three visits to this location, my fiancée and I have experienced incorrect orders each time. While this alone isn’t a major inconvenience and typically wouldn't bother us, what I find unacceptable is the behavior of the employees. They were loudly criticizing the customer they were serving—even with the window open—while continuously blaming us for their mistakes and displaying an exceptionally rude and condescending attitude about it. I understand that dealing with difficult customers can be frustrating, but this conduct is unwarranted towards those who are being patient and respectful.
This place is typically very busy. When they're short on staff, it can take a while for your order to arrive. However, the staff has always been friendly to me. Most of the locals, myself included, tend to be patient and polite. That said, there was one incident where I was nearly hit by a driver from out of state in the parking lot, likely because I was walking too slowly!
I ordered a med hot coffee, went to put it in cup holder and cover came off exploding hot coffee all over my car and purse and new items for my great granddaughter. Asked for napkins and was ever so rudely told I must have squeezed the cup and too bad! Believe me I did not, cover obviously was not on tight. Grrrrrr
This dunkin is alright, if you don't wait 30 minutes at the drive thru. I'm not usually one to say anything. I waited in line for 30 minutes and then at the window for 15 minutes, 4 different employees walked by, not one even looked at the window. SuperFrustrating. My advice... Go inside to order. You'll wait but not for 40+ minutes! (Befote you judge, the store was emptyinside)
