Kerala House Restaurant

I have been to the Kerala House Restaurant at statute on several occasions mostly for lunch since the restaurant is just few minutes walk from the office. They serve mainly Kerala style food which is served fresh and if we are late for lunch the Kerala meals and biriyani will be over and we may to opt for other items like porotta or chappathi with side dishes. The restaurant is neat and clean with sufficient seating and the service is excellent. Nice restaurant to have some fresh and authentic Kerala food.

The place is easy to find with big signs and the waiter was very friendly. The place is a simple shack but clean. I ordered mutton biriyani and some juice. The juice was good but the biriyani almost didn't taste anything. It wasn't bad but it was the poorest I've ever had. It was a big portion though. The biriyani was priced 200 and was one of the more expensive things, so the prices are fairly good but I wouldn't go there again if I didn't have to.

I must say this place is offering very good food and the price is pretty reasonable I must also add to the fact that the places very neat and clean

The service was great. but unfortunately only a good service dossier makes a hotel review good. the food was not fresh at all (i.e. fish) we ordered veg meals and they delivered simple fish engraving along it we ordered ayila, choora and naymeen (all fry) was only not fresh and it was cold served. I could see black spots in the fish. we came here with great expectations, but unfortunately it ended up eating cold. speaking about the price, I would say it is expensive for what they serve. 200 250 for the cold fish. sitting area was clean as I said I would give 5 stars for the service they always offer a smile on their face. absolutely no parking space for cars. it's on a wise road. bike parking is available. Note: As I always say, I give my review honestly, according to my personal experience and I am not influenced by any means. others might have another experience.

Super meals. kappa beef biriyani was also great. together with him, a Mackerel peace. very tasty.
