Jiweke Tavern - Thika

Great eating wonderful staff! a great place to relax, sporty and also family together! 10/10!

Visited the place during off peak hours (I.e. Friday afternoon). Found a very good outdoor spot. It is good to book an outdoor table in advance, to be on the safe side. The food and service was average, but wouldn’t mind going back there.

Had a small group of friends, positives; Nice ambience, very spacious, OK food but slightly over priced by Nairobi standards. Disappointed by the tiny portions of accompaniments and the choma was slightly tough. The kienyeji chicken itself was great. The waiting staff were few for a Wednesday so there was a slight delay despite the place being less than 10% full. Not a bad experience but disappointing for what it could possibly be. Good for families as there's a play area.

I can't praise Jiweke Tavern enough! The food is fantastic and reasonably priced. It's the perfect place to host an event, as they allow you to bring in your own cake without any additional fees. The atmosphere is quiet and child-friendly.

Jiweke Tavern is a reliable spot that has never disappointed me. The music, food, and atmosphere are all top-notch, making it a great place to enjoy with family and friends. Located along Ngong Street, they have a welcoming vibe that brings people together. I appreciate that they cater to individuals with disabilities by providing ramps for wheelchair users.
