La Palma - Thibodaux

We went there today around 1:35 sat down girl gave us the menu and asked for our drink order. She came back and apologized because they cant take any sit down orders but can do take out. We live in Gramercy where were we to eat and food would have been cold by the time we got home. We waited for the lunch rush so it wouldnt have been crowded. We were very disappointed.

Why wouldn’t this Place of business put on their website that you cannot order online. Instead you go through all of the steps of ordering online and the system charges your card twice!!! When I called and spoke to the general manager Brenda and expressed my concerns and that I was absolutely upset because my card was charged $46 twice!! Her attitude towards me was eventually your money will come back to you!!! And that they are having problems with the system online. She was very unprofessional I lived in Texas for 18 1/2 years there is no way a Mexican or Tex-Mex restaurant would be so unprofessional. We are in Louisiana where our cuisine is Cajun food Brenda makes the Mexican culture look horrible!!!!! 

San Miguel Nachos with queso are delicious. The presentation is missing, but the taste will forget you what it looks like. Self-service Nachos are a great note. In combination with the marinated grilled onions, the warm salsa is the best in the city. Authentic Mexican food is waiting for you.

This local kitchen was nothing imagination, but good food and service. This Texan was challenged to understand the Cajun French Creole spoken by the waiter and other leaders. It was also musical to hear.

Good food that wasn't exactly the same as any other restaurant. Nice change of pace. Only things I didn't like were the too thick chips and too thin guacamole. I'd eat here again.
