The food was very well prepared and seasoned. The atmosphere was great! Very casual and comfortable. We could’ve sat there for hours. We will definitely be coming back and will recommend to everyone we talk to.
Nick’s fish dive is a great place. We went there before we visited a show in the Pavilion last weekend. The table they assigned us was really snug with two other tables, which was quite uncomfortable. We asked to be reseated, but there was no more space, so we just sucked it up and also made some polite conversation with our neighbors. The food was good, creamy oysters, fresh tuna Poke and a nice grilled fish. I was no great fan of the fried seafood, which they also have in abundance but you can stay clear of that in the menu. We ordered a sparkling wine which proved to be quite challenging for our lovely waitress.
Food was good however our waitress was not. We ordered then didn't see her until I asked for the check, however the table next to us got assistant about 4 times from her. I won't be coming back not because of the food because of the treatment I'm a paying customer as well!
Food was mediocre overpriced. I dont mind paying for a great meal but this wasnt it. We ordered crab cakes, mussels, oysters, shrimp grits and a house salad. The crab cakes were almost tasteless. I dont believe there was one piece of crab in them. The mussels were good and clean. Everything else we ordered was just ok. Service was ok once our waitress noticed us. Aesthetically nice on the inside and nice patio but would not return.
Upon our arrival, they did not honor our reservations. We waited 1 hour and 15 minutes for our table and an additional 45 minutes for our food. However, they did compensate us by covering half of our meal. It may not be the best choice to dine at this restaurant on a Cynthia Woods Pavilion concert night.
