On the way to home from a fantastic day at the South Down Beach we decided to visit the water mill for tee. at the arrival there was a large parking space and a great beer garden. in the restaurant we were met by a friendly waiter. we decided to eat outside on the terrace and there was a great menu with pub classics like lasagne, pizza, steak, burger and so on. we all had the fish and chips that were beautifully presented and tasted super. the portions were good. the restaurant was very busy and clean with a lot of handsanitary. we would definitely recommend a visit, especially if they like family friendly land pubs.

“Diamond of a pub!” we came on Christmas day over the water mill. plans to stay elsewhere in our hired home mobile, went benign, so we returned to this beautiful looking pub that we had past on the way to the beach would not have asked for a better foundation. tony his employees were all welcome. tony let us park the residential property in his parking lot we were gone in the huge space would not take any payment if we asked if there was a chance that we could stay there in the night, so we could have a few Christmas drinks in his beautiful pub. the pumps didn't work in the house, tony let us have the water we wanted. I needed a lemon, he gave me two. He told us we were sitting on fire, relaxing. the place was beautifully decorated, all the workers were in a good mood that tried to enjoy themselves, to make sure everyone had a great Christmas day. nothing was too much for them, they worked their floors off! we immediately fell in love with the place tony was simply unbelievable to let us feel at home. the surrounding landscape is stunning after a much needed windy walk along the coast the next day, we go to the pub, asked for another night to stay tony said he would have assumed that we would! ordered something to eat. the kale risotto with ruckhun was delicious the fish chips were perfection, which comes the fish chip knowsr! . and as for the Sienna nuts. we had a few pots of those with our delicious beer goat! we will go back without doubt. tony is one of the most friendly real people we have ever come over him should be proud of the watermill his staff there. it is our new favorite place. thanks for making our Christmas party! visit December 2016

Had a nice time in the watermill. we have booked a large table for vatertagsessen and were very satisfied with the service. eating was great and I was particularly impressed with the dessert menu. the brownie with salted caramel ice cream was delicious! the waiter dion was really helpful and polite. would recommend!

Iw wanted to visit for eternity and today my other half offered me to take lunch on Sunday, so I chose the water mill. came around 12.30 and managed to get a table. we chose 1 been and 1 truthahn dinner. the portion size was perfect and the engraving was delicious! service was also great! I think our Lady was called emma. we have also decided for desert-hih, I must say was the best desert iw had out in a loouong time..i had sticky toffee pudding. have already been raiding about our visit by friends and we will be back
