Fat Jackets - The Quays, Salford

Never have to que but food is fresh and good. Staff could do with a little training in how to welcome people even when I know it's not a busy shop, but maybe have a re- think in visual behaviour, sometime you don't see staff until enough noise is made to alert them that your there,when they do appear not a drop of enthusiasm or happy to see some one/anyone, you would think they would be very excited in seeing people and talking to them as it's a very quite shop.

Literally just the same as Spud u Like, but with a different name. We love jacket potatoes so this place is great. Will definitely be returning.

Expensive for what you get. It's next to subway so they need to up their game. Ie tomatoe,cucumber,coriander,avocadoe salsa. More vegetarian options.themed days eg Mexican.Scooping out the middle of the spud and mixing with cheese and chives and sour cream,Then piling it back in with a bit of paprika. Half size options.

Just had a jacket potato with prawn mayo and I have to say it's the best one I've ever had. There were tons and I mean tons of prawns .jacket was of a decent size and I actually had filling left once potato was gone. That's great cos hate when u get half way through and run outta filling making it dry!! Prices are reasonable. Friendly helpful staff. Not much of a wait between ordering and collecting. Ohh and it was a hot potato..not warm! I actually had a hot potato that remained hot even after adding a cold topping!!Lattes are ok quality and also not too strong!
