Dutch Drive Inn - The Pas

The french fries were very soggy and tasted like sawdust. the ice cream was good but they only had vanilla. sorry to say I wouldn't stop by again.

The food is ok. They offer simple, plain bacon cheeseburgers and dark bitter fries and powdered gravy. The service is slow and unorganized. But the wait, my god the wait. Two burgers and one fry should not take 45 minutes to be served. There is not a single ingredient involved in a bacon cheeseburger that takes more than 7 minutes to cook. The same goes for the fries. So either the kitchen is extremely unorganized or the cooks are simply untrained. Ultimately this place suffers from very poor management and that suffering is passed on to the customer. This place stays popular though simply due to the lack of choices in the Pas and benefits by closing down each winter long enough for everyone to forget just how disappointing this place really is.

She checked it during the trip on the paps. great place and cool they can get the pills on their auto windows. we ordered 2 northern nips with the works and they were great. fries are also delicious. get a lot of food, we had to keep the rest of our pommes for later on the trip back to winnipeg. server were friendly and provide good service.

Dutch always has the best ice cream! Today really on the place. Of course you had to get rid of gravy; delish!
