Oni Japanese Dining - The Hague

Sushi was ok, chicken gyōzas also (sauce not so tasty). But I was disappointed with ramen. It is nowhere close to real ramen. Putting medium rare steak and broccoli in ramen. There was no egg or anything similar that is put in normal ramen.

It was one of the most delicious Japanese restaurants in The Hague but to my surprise the service and food quality has changed a lot. Great sushi, decent dishes and a nice atmosphere to eat, but the staff were not attentive enough. We enjoyed the sushi but were a bit disappointed with steak yaki dish which simply did not taste like ribeye quality steak. The overall experience was decent, but combined with seeming to have to fight for the staff's attention soured the visit. Seeing an older couple stand up and demand attention after waiting a long time to simply pay the bill, we saw that our experience was not unique. We ended up avoiding ordering desert as we did not want to commit ourselves to another 25mins in the restaurant. With some improvements in service and a review of the yaki dishes, this could be a top rated location.

Eten en cocktails waren heerlijk!! Ik was zo zat van die all you can eat restaurants, dus ik heb Oni geprobeerd. Het was echt lekker!

Een feest voor je smaak bij elk gerecht opnieuw. Vriendelijk personeel dat bij elk gerecht vertelt wat het is en wat erin zit. Wij hebben ervan genoten!
