El Mercat Den Haag - The Hague

This restaurant is great. It serves real food, focusing on the main product. All meals are prepared with a lot of attention, and we can feel it in the impressive deep tastes of the plates prepared with few elements. After going to many restaurants in The Hague, I can say this is my preferred one for having good and authentic food. Perhaps it will not be the cheapest place to go in The Hague (neither the most expensive), but it deserves every cent as I pay for fresh ingredients (and not for storytelling). The service is amazing with much attention to the orders and to people. The location is very convenient, and the space and decoration are lovely. The terrace during summer is a plus.

Fantastic dishes! Throughly enjoyed sharing plates and sangria Make sure to stay for the dessert! Waitress was very very kind. We will be back!

Patates bravas and shrimp were excellent. We didnt like olive. Octobus was very delicous. Staff is kind and helpfull. We liked this restaurant.

Pricey, small portions, and dishes came out one at a time. Shared dining (should) mean you get your dishes together to share… But a nice atmosphere..

Great choices of food and good quality. Staff was friendly and attentive. A bit too pricey for what you get.
