The bread is longer and thinner than other Vietnamese sandwich shops, so you can enjoy the ingredients!Bathrooms need attention and the parking is crazy during lunch!
This used to be my favorite place to get banh mi (since1998), unfortunately today’s order was a disappointment both in quality and in quantity. Their sandwiches do not taste the same, it has less filling, and even the bread is different. The bread used to be French baguettes. And we requested for extra butter, but seems like they barely put any in at all. It was also lacking the soy sauce that they usually drizzle on. And we ordered 20 sandwiches and all 20 had the same issue. I’m so sad cuz I was looking forward to eating the delicious sandwich and I spent a lot of money only to be disappointed.
Waited 30m for my 5 sandwiches and 5 plain bread. Everyone that was in front of me came in after me order and left they weren't even called in! I came in speaking English... I can hear them speaking in viet saying oh she can wait it's not important. The girl doesn't speak viet ... when I asked the cashier why my food was taken long in English she said not enough workers then turned over and told the other lady what's my rush in viet.. I stood patiently for the sandwich then after I left I said thank you in viet and she looked at me like speechless said your viet?? Sorry I didn't know .. doesn't matter you guy should treat everyone the same. Also you have a few homeless folks standing in front of your shop make people uncomfortable when they ask for money and food and follow you to the car half way..
They were out of pate before 2pm on Sunday, so I’ll go earlier next time. I got the large meatball banh mi and shredded chicken banh mi. The baguette was pretty long, but the filling of the meatball was a bit scarce. The flavors in both were super delicious though! The aoili was freaking awesome, the veggies inside were fresh, and the baguette was perfectly toasted. Reminder: Cash only!
Cash only and bad service. If you don't speak Vietnamese, they don't really care for your business.
