The menu had mentioned it has crabs but it turns out it was crab bits which is quite different from what she was expecting. OTOH, I enjoyed my bo ne so I guess that evened things out. The guy that waited on us was nice and friendly; I could tell he wanted us to enjoy our experience as much as possible and it helped that the place hasn't quite become busy yet.
I’m really questioning these positive reviews for this place because it’s extremely disappointing for me after trying their bun bo hue. It’s so salty with sad looking meat, plus there’s no lemongrass taste in the broth at all when it’s supposed to. When they first brought the bowl out, looking at the color of the broth I could tell right away it’s a no already, and yep it is.Updated my reply to the owner of this store who replied back with nothing but silliness:Lol, my review clearly stated how horrible your BBH is, I did not go into details how those “positive reviews” are, so don’t say that I hate the positive reviews. Not my fault when you can’t accept criticism for your food and it’s fact!!!! There won’t always be positive reviews all the time, grow up, take the negative, and learn to do better.
Both canh bún and bún bò huế look and taste excellent. Very nice services.Hundreds of stars
Best food best service. First time check out some things new in Houston. Everything on menu so good. We order Bun Bo Hue, Bun Rieu Oc and egg rolls so delicious. We will coming back when we're check out Houston next time. Plus, owner very friendly.
We came here with skeptical since the restaurant was completely empty on a Friday evening. But it turned out to be good. We ordered the in house special bun bo hue.
