Stopped by here after a bike ride on Buffalo Bayou and got the strawberry cheesecake frozen custard. I took a bite before I remembered to take a picture, which is why it looks so smooth on top, lol. It was delicious! The service was great as well!

Rita’s is great! Coming from the north east (where Rita’s originates), it is like having a little piece of home here with me.

This was a good dessert place. When we came here we had some discounts on ice cream and they were still good quality. I tried cotton candy, strawberry watermelon, Georgia peach, and mango. I enjoyed all of the flavors. The downside is the limited parking and I believe it was one way. It wasn’t busy when we went at night, I recommend not going during the peak hours. The service was friendly and fast. Prices were reasonable.

The service is usually good but this time it was the worst. The cashier didn’t understand that I wanted both the mango orange and the Florida orange ice flavors in the same cup. After a frustrating exchange, the cashier slammed the cup of ice cream on the counter which I thought was very unprofessional. The flavors also are dwindling compared to what it was before. Flavors like the Brookie dough are no longer available and they had only three other custard flavors which was disappointing. Overall a sour experience especially when there’s also no parking outside usually.Edit: this was Mar 3 2024
